Zero is looking for a contract Social Media Specialist for 5-10 hours a week to manage and elevate our social media presence. Our mission is to extend the lifespan and healthspan of the human race. We’re helping millions commit to life-saving, longevity-boosting healthy habits. More than 10 million people have started their fasting journey with Zero, and every week, hundreds of thousands actively engage with both our app and social media content.

About the role

In this role you will:

• Develop and execute a weekly content schedule, posting 2–4 engaging pieces on Instagram, Twitter (X), TikTok, and YouTube.
• Ideate, create, and remix content—from short-form videos to infographics—that resonates with current trends and aligns with our brand voice.
• Collaborate directly with our CEO and Chief Medical Officer to craft and refine science-backed social media content.
• Monitor social channels to respond to comments and messages, ensuring a positive and interactive community.
• Participate in a weekly strategy meeting to review performance, brainstorm campaign ideas, and iterate based on insights.
• Track key engagement metrics to continuously refine our social media strategy.

About You

We’re looking for someone with at least 3+ years of experience managing social media for consumer brands or apps, who is creative, proactive, and comfortable working remotely at 5-10 hours per week. Strong communication skills, a passion for health and wellness, and proficiency with content (particularly Canva & Adobe Premier) and social media tools are essential to success in this role.
